I have decided, like everyone else, to start a food blog. But I am not just posting about delicious recipes that I am making, I am also posting about some more serious matters – mental health. Who thinks to put those two things together?! Yep, it is me. I currently hold a temporary license in Marriage and Family Therapy in the great state of Tennessee. Also, cooking and baking are what inspire me. So I thought why not combine these two drastically different topics and see what happens.

So that is what I am doing here. Trying to find a place to merge these and hopefully do a little good in the process. My hope is that someone finds help or learns something new that they can help someone else in my little corner of the internet. Raising awareness about mental health is something that I am extremely passionate about and why not get rid of some stigma surrounding it along the way.
